Cambodian team visit Angkor Wat in preparation for 2019 Homeless World Cup

Our players went to visit the world famous temples in Siem Reap as a team building exercise and it was a fantastic experience for all involved. Four of the eight players had never been to Angkor Wat before and they were blown away by its beauty. Siem Reap is a lovely city and our team enjoyed their break and had some training sessions as well.

'I had heard about Angkor Wat and seen pictures before but I could not believe how amazing it was. Seeing what my ancestors did makes me so proud to be Khmer. I can't wait to go to the UK and represent Cambodia.''
Phanna Phor, Cambodian national team player.

This trip was supported by Scott Neeson and Cambodian Children's Fund. We are grateful for the ongoing support CCF gives HFCA and wish our close partner all the best for 2019!
