News Australian festival Folk Rhythm and Life supports HFCA

The lovely people at FRL (Folk, Rhythm and Life) have given some of the proceeds of last years event to help HFCA run our program.

Started back in 1996 the event is not for profit, with everyone volunteering their time including the 100+ bands and DJs that perform over 3 days near Wangaratta in Northern Victoria. FRL really is a beautiful occassion on all levels including the natural amphitheatre and National Park lands, as well as the souls who attend. The event has supported many worthy causes over the years and HFCA is honoured to be recognised by their committee and to receive this support.

A huge thank you to FRL and the Skermer family in particular for supporting HFCA, a great example of the wonderful work they do for community locally and overseas.

The HFCA program will continue to provide opportunities to those who would otherwise not receive, to break the cycle in families that have little hope and to empower kids to believe in themselves in the face of challenge and have lots of fun doing it! It is thanks to support such as this that we can continue to offer these opportunities.
