Highlights of the Memorandum Of Understanding signed by both organisations Directors includes launching the annual Canada Cambodia Charity Cup to take place at the Homeless World Cup as well Street Soccer Canada committing (funds permitting) to pay for the return flight for one Cambodian player to attend the Homeless World Cup for 2015,2016 and 2017. Both organisations are committed to trying to send a staff member to visit each others program so we can learn from each other. Street Soccer Canada is pleased to formalize our strong relationship and partnership with Happy Football Cambodia Australia. We have learned a great deal from the Cambodian players and their leadership about social inclusion over the last seven Homeless World Cup's. Our players have formed bonds and have had many friendly matches getting to know each other. We hope to more fully support their work and grow our existing partnership to promote awareness about the global face of poverty and how football can assist in overcoming it.
- Paul Gregory (Director Street Soccer Canada)
HFCA would like to sincerely thank Paul Gregory for all the support he has given Team Cambodia at the last seven Homeless World Cups. Paul has attended the last eleven events and his vast experience, cool head and good advice at times of great pressure has proved invaluable to the Cambodian management team.
