News Cambodian footballers can't wait to see beautiful city of Cardiff as Wales announced to host the 2019 Homeless World Cup.

The official announcement was delivered live on the pitch on the 11th of October before the Wales v Spain Exhibition Match at the Principality Stadium, to crowds of Welsh and Spanish fans.

“We are delighted to announce that the 2019 Homeless World Cup will take place in Cardiff,” said Mel Young Homeless World Cup co-Founder addressing the crowds at the Principality Stadium. “Teams from all over the world will be attending this inspirational event, and I’m sure it will be a world-class event. We are truly excited to be here.”

I am so excited to have won the rights to bring the tournament to Wales. We are going to deliver the best tournament yet. I am incredibly grateful to the many partners across Wales who helped us get to this point. Thank you to Cardiff City Council, Cardiff University, Welsh Government, Sport Wales, FA Wales, Pobl Group and of course to Street Football Wales.
