News Canada and Cambodia celebrate friendship in Amsterdam

A great game between two close friends took place in Amsterdam at the Homeless World Cup.

Canada and Cambodia bonded at the 2010 Homeless World Cup in Rio, Brazil. Since then we have always enjoyed each other's company and our countries have many close game's over the years.

The Canada team understand the true spirit of the Homeless World Cup and always play fair. We are very lucky to have them as our friends.

- Vibol Chao, HFCA Country Manager

To strengthen that bond we recently signed a Memorandum Of Understanding  till December 2017 and we had the first Canada Cambodia Challenge Cup take place in Amsterdam. Cambodia won the game but everyone else came away a winner.

The Cambodia program is progressive and innovative. We can only hope to replicate the relationships they provide to their players over the long term"
