News Chan Minea Homeless World Cup player of the tournament

The 2016 Homeless World Cup male player of the tournament is Cambodia's Chan Minea.

Up against 400 plus player's for this prestigious award Minea was both shocked and delighted when his name was called out. Considering the great talent on show all week its an amazing achievement for an 18 year old from the streets of Phnom Penh to win this trophy. Minea gives everything for his team mates and country and as team captain he led by example. With a superb first touch, a great right foot and the heart of a Khmer warrior he inspired his team mates to a famous victory against Sweden with four goals in a 8-2 victory in the Men's Globe final.
