News Collingwood Rotary Fair Play community event suspended to 2021

Due to the current global health crisis HFCA have decided to suspend our planned Fair Play event from the 28th of November to 2021.

First launched in 2007 Fair Play brings together sixteen community teams from all over Melbourne to compete for the Collingwood Rotary trophy.

“Rotary has supported the Fair Play tournament, which plays for the Collingwood Rotary Cup, for many years. While we are disappointed that this year's event has had to be cancelled due to Covid, we look forward eagerly to the rescheduled event next year. Covid has caused members of the community to be kept in isolation. Fair Play brings teams of young men and women together in a real community spirit and connects them in a cooperative way as only team sports can. Coming after the end of strict isolation it will be an important step in the resumption of community connection in a friendly spirit of competition.”
