News HFCA and Cambodian Kids Foundation extend partnership to 2017

HFCA and Cambodian Kids Foundation have been working together to help some of the poorest boys and girls in Cambodian since 2010.

We are delighted to announce that we are extending our partnership with Cambodian Kids Foundation till December 2017. They do amazing work in one of the poorest parts of the country and its an honour to partner with them.

Bora has been working with the Cambodian Kids Foundation since he was 12 years old. Over the past six years we have watched a little boy who’s English vocabulary consisted of one word, pizza, grow into an amazing young man! Bora has been participating in the HFCA program since 2011 when CKF became partners with HFCA. From day one he has only missed one or two training sessions and is a leader when it comes to the younger boys who come from Kampong Thom to train. Bora is dedicated to the HFCA program and is often training on his own during the week, or organising friendly matches against other organisations in Phnom Penh so that he and the other boys can play as much football as possible! We are so proud of Bora and believe that he is so deserving of a place on the Cambodian Homeless World Cup team due to his dedication, leadership and wonderful spirit! We look forward to watching Bora grow even more throughout the Homeless World Cup and we’re excited for the stories and experiences he will bring home! Congratulations to our Bora and to all of the amazing players who have made the Cambodian team we are so proud.
