News HFCA team cant wait for the 2018/2019 Cambodian Champions League kick off

All of the players are excited about HFCA's second season in the KMH Champions League.

Whilst our first season in the 2017/2018 Champions League was a real challenge for our squad of 24 players it was also a fantastic experience to be part of one of the best leagues in all of Cambodia.

Last year we had no pre-season training as we were invited to join the day before the official draw. This year HFCA has made a huge effort to ensure the team is prepared and we have secured access to the KHM Stadium for our training sessions. With the league due to start in late December, early January we are doing our best to ensure we are fit and the players are keen to improve on last year.

When we announced the 24 places in the squad were going to be selected we had a huge response with 31 HFCA players registering to be part of the selection process. The 32 team KHM Champions League season first started in 2014 and this upcoming edition is the fifth year the Cambodian Champions League will take place. With four groups of eight HFCA is guaranteed fourteen games. We will announce the lucky 24 players who were selected very soon.
