CHHUN BUNLAO


Life story/Family background: I was born and growing up in Banthey Mean Chey province then moved to Phnom Penh in 2008. My father as a singer and mother is a street vendor. I dropped off school since grade 8 in 2008 due to my parents cannot support me anymore for studying. I was found by Riverkids Foundation Project in 2012 and this organization has sent me to take a short course of hand-phone repairing. I think after the course I will have a better job. 

Joined HFCA: I have sent to HFCA program since late 2012 by Riverkids Foundation Project (RKF). Thank you very much to HFCA program and who else in helping me in playing football with the right way because before came to HFCA, I played football without coach and football gears and on the street. I played football for healthy and to be a professional coach.

The 2013 Homeless World Cup: I am so happy that I will have the best opportunity in my first life to go to play football with other people coming around the world in Poznan, Poland in August which organizing by the Homeless World Cup org. I would like to say thank you very much to all people who worked hard in raising money in helping the Cambodian Homeless Youth to present Cambodia at the Homeless World Cup.

Position: I played as a role of Goalkeeper. 
Favorite Team: Liverpool is my best team.

Favorite Player: I like David Beckham.

Life story/Family background: I was born and growing up in Pursat province then I moved to Phnom Penh in 1996. I am living with father as a lawyer and my mother was dead in 2010. I am a thirds year student of Law at RULE University. I played football when I was 8 year old, I played on the rice field, somewhere in City, no coach and football gears.

Joined HFCA:I joined HFCA training program since late 2012, and I like this program very much because it supported me even football supplies, the field and professional coaches. Since attended HFCA program, I never play football on the street or playing without coaches anymore. I thank you to HFCA program for helping me in playing football in right way.

The 2013 Homeless World Cup: I am really surprised that I have selected for participating the 2013 Homeless World Cup in Poland in August. So, I am going to play harder for winning the game.

I am waiting to see the event is coming in August in Poznan, Poland and ready in getting/sharing experiences to other homeless people around the world in the tournament and while living in Poznan.

I would like to say thank you so much to all people who have been working hard in raising fund for sending Cambodian Homeless Youth to present their country at the 2013 Homeless World Cup in Poznan, Poland.

Position: I played as a role of Midfielder.

Favorite Team: I like Manchester United team the most.

Favorite Player: Didier Drogba is my favorite player.

Life story/Family background: I was born and growing up in Phnom Penh and I am living with mother who is working as a staff-volunteer in Riverkids Foundation Project (RKF). My parents divorced since I was 5 years old. I dropped off my education since grade 6 for my mother not able to support me to the school. Since I dropped my school I worked as a worker somewhere in Phnom Penh for earning some money to support family. Since April 2013, I was sent by RKF to take a short course of Motorcycle repairing and the course will finished in October, 2013 then I hope I will have a better job after the course.

Joined HFCA:I have sent to HFCA program since late 2007 by Riverkids Foundation Project (RKF). Thank you very much to HFCA program and who else in helping me in playing football in the right way because before I came to HFCA, I played football in public, no field, no coach and gears.

The 2013 Homeless World Cup: I have disappointed last year that I have selected as a reserved player for the 2012 Homeless World Cup in Mexico City and I didn’t go for the money limited. For this time I am so happy that I have been selected again for the 2013 Homeless World Cup in Poznan, Poland. I am waiting and see that I have chance to go or not. However, I am playing harder for presenting my country in the world. I am ready in getting some good experiences from people in the Homeless World Cup event in August and will sharing their experiences to my nation when I am back.

Position: I played as a role of attacker/Forwarder.

Favorite Team: Manchester United is my best team.
Favorite Player:Rooney is the most players that I like.

Defender Nuth

NUTH DANETH

Life story/Family background: I was born and growing up in Phnom Penh. My father worked as a worker of ferry-boat and my mother as a worker in factory. There are 3 children in my family and I am a first child. I used to study at grade 9, but I dropped due to my parents cannot support me anymore.  

Riverkids organization has sent me in taking the course of Electrician skills and I hope after the course I will get a better job. I like playing football when I have free times since I was 12 years old. 

Joined HFCA: I have been sent to HFCA program since 2005 by Riverkids Foundation Project (RKF) and HFCA program helped me to reduce 100% in playing football on the street, on the size-roads. Moreover, this program provided me of football gears, right football field and professional coaches. 

The 2013 Homeless World Cup: I am very excited that I was selected for the 2013 Homeless World Cup in Poznan, Poland. I would like to say thank you so much to everyone who worked hard in raising money to help the Cambodian Homeless Youth to present their country at the HWC in Poznan, Poland in August. I will play harder at the training here and I am playing in a fair play at the HWC tournament.  

Position: When playing football I am as defender.

Favorite Team: The most team that I like is Manchester United.

Favorite Player: Robin Van Persie is the best players that I like.

Defender Prum

PRUM CHHUNLY


Life story/Family background: I was born and growing up in Kandal province. I moved to live with my aunt in Phnom Penh just in November 2012 for my parents cannot support me to school and I dropped off the school since grade 7.  Since I moved to Phnom Penh, my aunt was sent me to Happy School organization and now I am studying English language in this organization. I hope Happy School will find a school for me because I want to continue of my education.

Joined HFCA: I have been sent to HFCA training program since February 2013 by Happy School org. I played football since 12 years old, but on the street or public area. Since attended HFCA training I never played football on their location above anymore because HFCA arranged a football field, coach and football gears for me.

The 2013 Homeless World Cup:I am so happy that I have selected for the 2013 Homeless World Cup in Poznan, Poland in August. I would like to say thank very much to all people who working in helping homeless people. I am going to play harder in training here and also in Poznan. I will share my experiences to other people while the HWC in Poznan and getting good experiences from there to share to my nation in here when I am back from the HWC.

Position:I play a role of Defender.

Favorite Team: I like Chelsea team the most. 

Favorite Player: Christiano Ronaldo is the best players that I like the most.

CHEY MAKRA

Life story/Family background: I was born and grow up in Phnom Penh and I am a second child of four children in my family. My mother works as a cleaner with a foreigner’s house and my father dead since I was 14. I am a student at grade 10 and I like to play football on my free times. In fact, I am taking two training football schedules with HFCA and National Police Team. I play football for becoming a professional footballer.

Joined HFCA: I have been sent to HFCA program by Cambodian Kids Foundation (CKF) since late 2010. I played football since I was 12 years old, but I played without coach and football gears. Now I am playing football on the right way because HFCA have arranged the football field, coach and football gears.

The 2013 Homeless World Cup: I am very happy that I have selected for the 2013 Homeless World Cup in Poland and I would like to say thank you so much to all people who worked hard in helping homeless people. I am going to player harder in training here for winning the games as possible.

Position: I am playing in role as a Defender.

Favourite Team: Barcelona is the best team that I like.

Favorite Player: Robin Van Persie is the best players that I like.
