From October onwards, 20 of the CCF program participants will be joining in our weekly training sessions. All going well, with hard work from these new players, some of them will have the opportunity of representing Cambodia in the Homeless World Cup in Rio de Janeiro 2010.

HFCA launched this award in 2019 to celebrate the achievements of our female footballers and it was appropriate to name it after our friend Scott Neeson as HFCA and CCF (Cambodian Children's Fund) had reached the milestone of a ten year partnership the same year.

HFCA (Happy Football Cambodia Australia) was formed in November 2005 to work with underprivileged youth in Phnom Penh who did not have access to football pitches and played on the streets instead. HFCA started small with 20 youth from a local NGO, one small pitch, two footballs and a coach.
