Chouly, Nita and Sokhapick were on average 12 years old when they joined our Girls Academy and to see them play in the U16 National League against famous clubs like Boeung Ket FC, Vishaka FC and PKR Svay Rieng FC is amazing. Everyone at HFCA is so proud of them.

XO United FC is an educational, and community-based organization. Founded in 2021, XO United provides professional football training, expert coaching, and character development for members of their local community in Phnom Penh. The club joined the Cambodian Womens League for the first time in 2026 and competed well against the other 7 teams taking over the 5 month long season.

Seeing HFCA Academy star Sokhapich embrace this new opportunity was wonderful. "Playing in the FFC U16 league for XO United really changed the way I see myself. At first, I was nervous because I was playing at a higher level and competing against strong teams. But every match taught me that I was capable of more than I thought. It gave me the confidence to trust myself, speak up, and not be afraid of challenges.''

"Collaborating with HFCA, a local football academy that shares our vision, has been a remarkable journey. Together, we provide these young players with professional training, nurture their abilities, and give them opportunities to compete on a larger stage"

Kerwin Lao, General Manager, XO United

Three of our star players participated in the inaugural FFC (Football Federation Cambodia) national league with Phnom Penh based XO United FC. Chouly (Aged 16), Nita (Aged 15) and Sokhapick (Aged 16) all come from underprivileged backgrounds and joined HFCA from our Phnom Penh based NGO partner Cambodian Children's Fund.
