HFCA (Happy Football Cambodia Australia) was formed in November 2005 to work with underprivileged youth in Phnom Penh who did not have access to football pitches and played on the streets instead. HFCA started small with 20 youth from a local NGO, one small pitch, two footballs and a coach.

Due to the current global health crisis HFCA have decided to suspend our planned Fair Play event from the 28th of November to 2021.

Having suspended all operations in Siem Reap in early March due to the global health crisis, HFCA players and staff were delighted to get back on the football pitch at the end of August.

Sadly the club had to cancel the upcoming trip in November due to the current global health crisis. HFCA wishes all our friends at Bonnet Bay FC well during a very difficult time.

HFCA suspended our football activities in mid March as the global health crisis took hold. Our HFCA players were all very sad as they missed training and having fun with their friends.

HFCA recently signed a new MOU with our longstanding partner HWCF (Homeless World Cup Foundation) and very much look forward to sending teams to represent Cambodia in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Homeless World Cups.

HFCA was due to host our annual Australian visitors Ivanhoe Grammar School on the 20th of June. In March the school made the right decision to cancel the visit due to the current global health crisis.

HFCA launched our own internal TV show in April 2019 and as the production crew are mostly Cambodian teenagers it has created a safe and comfortable space for our youth to share their feelings about all things football!
